Verify the actuator controller connection and/or power (Error code: -1073807339)

Error code: -1073807339 can appear for multiple reason. The most common reason is that the ESP controller power button is off.
To fix this error, reach behind the Motion Controller and activate the switch powering ON the ESP controller.

Other possible reasons:
-The controller has not been power cycled since the PC was restarted. The solution in this case is to turn the controller OFF and ON again.
-On a new installation or after reinstallation of the system, it is possible that the COM# has changed. This COM# can be modified in the Mach-1 Motion Configuration/Hardware menu when opening Mach-1 Motion. Valid numbers are usually between 1 and 6.
-There is also the possibility that the "Cable to DAQ Card" is loose and must be tightened.

Problems associated with Windows Update:
-An issue was discovered if Windows is Updated while the ESP302 controller is kept ON. To solve:
  1. Turn OFF the ESP302 controller.
  2. Restart the PC while the ESP302 controller is kept OFF.
  3. Once the PC is done restarting, turn ON the ESP302 controller.
  4. Launch the Mach-1 Motion software to ensure the PC is communicating properly with the controller.

Problem associated with updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11:
-An issue was discovered with the COM port driver when updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
-To solve this particular error
  1. open "Device Manager" on the PC.
  2. Use the drop down arrow to the left of the "Ports (COM & LPT) line to show the COM ports.
  3. Right-click the COM port the system is using (in older systems this is usually COM1).
  4. Click "Update driver" > "Search automatically for drivers" > "close".
  5. Restart the PC.
  6. Test the connection by opening the Mach-1 Motion application and seeing if live data is shown.
